What do you think of the Pixel Posy makeover? I was having an issue getting the previous theme to display correctly in internet explorer. This one appears to be having side bar issues in IE too…. grrrrrrrrrr. Why does anyone even use IE.

In 2006 I whipped up this little iPod ad parody for St. Patrick’s Day. It’s nothing special by any means, but I was quite taken aback to receive an email from someone feeling it encroached on their trademark. The trademark in question is a spinoff of the I <3 NY themed crap sold at every tourist gift shop. I directed them towards CafePress.com’s Intellectual Property Rights Agent. I’ll let you know what happens.

Week three is coming to a close and I don’t think anyone has cheated. Although tomorrow… and even I am caving, we’re going out for Chinese Pizza. I’ve never heard of such a place, but the menu sounds fun so the experience is worth joining the cheater’s list. Oh and we’ve decided that hauling stuff home to cook and bring back stinks… going to try to avoid that unless someone expressively feels the urge to cook for the group.
Here’s what we served up this week…
Week 3 Menu:
- Monday:
- Breakfast: oatmeal or poptarts and an orange
- Lunch: turkey Sandwich, pickle, chips and a banana
- Tuesday:
- Breakfast: cereal and bananas
- Lunch: potpies, cottage cheese, green beans and buttered bread
- Wednesday:
- Breakfast: waffles and syrup
- Lunch: chicken and rice soup, crackers, leftover baked potatoes with cottage cheese
- Thursday:
- Breakfast: waffles and syrup or leftovers
- Lunch: spaghetti, salad with ranch, buttered bread
- Friday:
- Breakfast: whatever is left
- Lunch: CHEATERS or leftovers
- Monday:
- Breakfast: Oatmeal.
Additional Snack items: Popcorn, PBJ sandwiches, extra crackers, chips and pickles, cookies.
Drink Options: water, milk, orange pop and tea.

I had a craving for chocolate and we had none, so I decided to try my hand at making homemade chocolate pudding. It turned out to be fairly easy and is very yummy.
Here’s the recipe I used submitted by Kelly Powers at allrecipes.com.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 3/4 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons margarine or butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
1. In a saucepan, stir together sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt. Place over medium heat, and stir in milk. Bring to a boil, and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a metal spoon. Remove from heat, and stir in margarine and vanilla. Let cool briefly, and serve warm, or chill in refrigerator until serving.
If you haven’t caught this elsewhere, check it out now. It’s a panoramic composite photo of Obama’s Inauguration. The detail is amazing.
